AP LITERATURE AND COMPOSITION: This course provides the high school student with an opportunity to explore literature on a level that parallels the scope and intensity of a college level course. This class is designed to challenge students toread, discuss, analyze, and write about complex texts from a variety oftime periods, genres, and perspectives. The texts include:

ENGLISH 41: This senior honors English class is an accelerated course designed for highly motivated students who excel in reading and writing but are not quite ready for the demands of an AP English class. Throughout the year,students will read a variety of contemporary and classic British andworld literature pieces including:

--Angela's Ashes

DIGITAL ENGLISH 42: This course is designed for students who enjoy using technology and Web 2.0tools in innovative ways. The course will utilize various forms of technology to create a near-paperless environment and encourage student engagement with British and World texts. These texts include:

ENGLISH 42: This Senior English course is designed for the college-bound student.Students are expected to read and write at high levels. The work load is rigorous, but not as fast-paced as the honors/AP English class. Students will cover a variety of classic and modern British and World literature texts including:
