BHS Special Education Staff Meghan Stabile - Coordinator of Special Education

My name is Meghan Stabile and I am lucky enough to serve as the Coordinator of Special Education at Bethel High School.  This is my fourth year in Bethel and I continue to be amazed at the wonderful work that is done here. Prior to working here in Bethel, I began my career in Brookfield as a Health teacher for two years.  I was then asked to take over the Alternative Program in the high school which I did for seven years. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sons, and my Boxer Evie!!


Fran Peters - Transition Specialist

Hi!  I am Fran Peters, the Transition Specialist for the Community Partnership Program for Bethel High School.    I am also the coordinator of TASK (Teamwork Achieves Success and Knowledge), Bethel High School's Alternative Program. I also served as coach for the Bethel High School’s Unified team for three years!  I am proud to say our team was recognized as a top 30 school in the 2018 ESPN Special Olympics Honor Roll! So proud!!


Kasia Bittner - Special Education Teacher

My name in Kasia Bittner, I was born and raised in Poland and came to the United States in 2000.  I started my teaching career at Westchester Exceptional Children's School in NY. I have been teaching the Foundations Program at BHS since 2007.  I live in NY with my husband and son. Our family loves many sporting activities, traveling and exploring new countries.


Bridget Landy - Special Education Teacher

Mrs. Landy has worked at Bethel High School for 12 years. She has worked within the Essentials classes for the most part, but has also taught in the STEP program as well as collaborative settings in both the English and Social Studies classes. Prior to working at Bethel High School, Mrs. Landy worked as a Special education teacher for 4 years in a non-public school in North Salem, New York. Mrs. Landy started out her career teaching Social Studies at both the Middle School and High School level. When Mrs. Landy isn’t teaching you can find her hanging out with her husband, son, dog Angus and cat Penny.


Nancy Brown - Special Education Teacher

Nancy Brown - This is my 12th year teaching Special Education at Bethel High School, however, I have taught in Newtown, New Fairfield, and Chicago during my lengthy teaching career.  I enjoy teaching my own specialty classes along with collaborating in English classes. I have three grown children of my own and soon will have my first grandchild. I enjoy traveling and sports and am an avid Yankee fan as well as following both NBA and college basketball.


John Tancredi - Special Education Teacher

My name is John Tancredi and I am happily in my second year of teaching at Bethel High School. I cannot stress how honored I am to be working with such incredible students, parents, and staff here in Bethel. I completed the K-12 teaching certification program at Central Connecticut State University where I also earned a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. In addition to teaching at BHS, I am also the Strength and Conditioning Coach and volunteer as an assistant coach for the BHS Wildcats boys lacrosse team.

Mark Ferrandino - Special Education Teacher

Mark Ferrandino received his BS in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and worked in the chemical industry for 20 years. In 2006, he felt a calling and began taking classes in special education at Southern CT State University where he earned his Masters Degree in Special Education with a specialty in Autism Spectrum Disorders in 2010. He became interested in Special Education as a result of meeting many wonderful teachers and therapists through his experience with his son Jake, who has autism.  His life traveled full circle as he began teaching at his alma mater in 2011, Bethel High School. Mark brings a wonderful sense of humor and compassion to all of his students. He also proudly coaches Bethel’s Unified Sports program for students with special needs and partners.

  

Kylie D’Arcangelo - Special Services Secretary

My name is Kylie D'Arcangelo and I am the Special Services Secretary here at the high school. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our puppy Zack.
