Morning Stars

Morning Stars Program

The Morning Stars Program is part of the Child Development class and operates the first hour of every day. When high school students rotate into that period for the day, their job is to engage with the elementary school children, assist with clean-up and classroom duties, and plan activities for the program.

The Morning Stars program is available to students K-3 who attend Berry or Rockwell Schools. This program is geared towards providing assistance to families who need before school care for their children. Drop off time begins no earlier than 7:30am and ends at 8:15am. At approximately 8:30am, the children are picked up by bus and transported to their school. The cost of the program is $450 for the duration. We do not provide breakfast here at our program, but we encourage you to provide your child with a healthy balanced breakfast before they arrive. In addition to a certified classroom teacher, there are also two para professionals in the room for that hour that assist with running the program.
