Business Education

The Bethel High School Business Education course offerings have undergone a substantial change over the past few years. Beginning in the 2009-10 academic year, courses within this program of study were redesigned around a Career Pathways model, allowing students to chart a road map for high school course work leading to internships and post-secondary work in the areas of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, information systems and general business. Using this "pathways" model, students entering as freshman to BHS will be able to see early on the courses they should expect to take if a career in these areas is in their future.

Students within the Business Education program have the ability to participate in student organizations such as DECA and the National Business Honor Society. These organizations offer leadership and community service opportunities as well as competitive events, participation in running the Wildcat Corner school store, and in planning school events such as the Fashion Show and Red Cross blood drives.
